now that I think about it it could also be They've been taken to Charing Cross, but that depends on what you want t say, I suppose. /ignore me and my pitiful American attempts to sound British :D
And no, you're doing a really good job with your English! I mean, you're a lot braver than I am, writing in your non-native language, I would never dare to do that myself. It's just that I am a very nitpicky person with Opinions about this sort of thing, and the things I like to complain about are honestly pretty silly sometimes.
English isn’t so much a second language as it is an extension of Swedish really, so I’m not that brave but sometimes it feels good to be able to hide behind the non-native-thing. Have a friend that says more people speak Klingon than Swedish, and if you have such a minor language you have to learn at least one other language to be able to communicate ;) Would never try to write in German or Japanese if I’m not forced, both those languages scare the shit out of me.
I’m going to stop this before I write a smaller essay about this ;)

Date: 2011-11-02 09:30 am (UTC)I like this ending, it works! Perfect way to introduce Mycroft into the story :D And oh Mycroft, you with your signed texts and your bold text...
"they are taking them" could be better phrased as "they're being taken" - just a heads-up!
