Fandom Snowflake Challenge - Day 7-10

solrosanSo.... I've been a bit busy lately, turning my flat into a proper mess by buying a new sofa and having to rearrange just about everything! (My flat is so tiny that I'm constantly impressed of all the things it holds. It becomes even more evident when something as huge as a sofa is introduced.) This has put me a bit behind on this, but now everything is stored away and I can catch up!
I actually did this on the 7th, but never got time to sit down and talk about it.
I've started to watch Elementary again after a suggestion on Netflix (and I had just finished my Grace & Frankie, so it was perfect timing). I enjoy it far more now than I did the first time around. I think my expectations were too high back then? I don't know. Either way, I'm enjoying it now! I had just finished season 2 on Tuesday and decided that I should try some fics for the show!
I wasn't blown away by the ones I read, but I did go in blind. Elementary isn't a show that I feel compelled to interact with the fandom even if I like the show (a bit like Criminal Minds, which has been one of my absolute favourites since it started) so that might be a reason too? Anyway, it was interesting.
Okay... This is the hard one.
1) The Kingsman Wiki Page Series
The Kingsman Wiki Page Series is a series of in-verse Wikipedia pages that were written around 2021. It started because I realised that Eggsy would definitely have one after he marries the Swedish Crown princess. It's the most fun I've had creating anything fanish in a long time and the project grew into a few more Wikipageds (Kingsman Tailor Shop, J.B., and Tilde). I'm so proud of them, because it took so much time and it turned out so great!
2) I, Spy

After having used up all favours he had with people at foreign intelligence services, Mr Holmes had tracked Sherlock down. Andrea really wished she didn’t know about some of the things he had promised to get the information he needed, because she wasn’t sure she was ready to lie under oath for him. He had asked for help, though, and to Lady Smallwood she had no problem bending the truth a little.
Most people think she is Mr Holmes' PA. Her nieces think she is a spy. LadySmallwood knows she’s neither. Mr Holmes knows she’s both. Her dates think she works in politics. The woman in question… isn’t sure.
Notes: This is the fic I've wanted to write for a long, long time and finally the Holmestice Winter Exchange 2017 gave me the push I needed! I'm very pleased with how it turned out and I'm thrilled that I actually wrote it!
3) End of a Line

Because when the fear and adrenaline is gone, what happens then? What goes into marrying the heir apparent to a monarchy in the 21st century? Is the prince-part mandatory? Is it possible to be a secret agent while being a prince? What press release? Who has a say in this, you say? And the Queen of England is on the guest list?! What else did we miss?
Notes: Just like I, Spy? this is the fic I wanted to write. The only one I thought I had in me to write, even, and I'm so happy that I actually wrote it. It's one of the longest fics I've written and I'm very proud of it, even if I'm not quite as pleased with it as I am I, Spy?
I did this one outside fandom. Sort of? I invited a friend's girlfriend to come with me to a few museums in February, because I know she loves it and that my friend doesn't want to go with her. Getting out there and finding exhibitions and other stuff is a bit hard for her since she's fairly new to Sweden so I'm hoping I can help her find which museums she likes so that she can start following them on social media or something just to get a feel for it.
